AG Ferrari Foods Expands Namesake Line of Products Nationally

January 11, 2017 — AG Ferrari Foods, the 97-year-old Bay Area-based Italian market, is expanding their namesake line of speciality products nationally for the first time. Their product will now be available in cities throughout the Northeast, Midwest and Western United States including all Fairway Market and De Cicco Market locations in New York, Kowalski’s Markets in

Minneapolis, Woodlands Markets in San Francisco, Dorothy Lane Markets in Ohio, and Jet.com.

The expansion was forged by Jarett Peppard, CEO of AG Ferrari Foods, who has an extensive and successful background in the gourmet grocery industry. AG Ferrari products offer customers a true taste of Italy by collaborating with artisan Italian

producers to create a unique and craveable line of products with a decidedly California perspective. AG Ferrari has been a beacon in the Bay Area for nearly 100 years, offering an exceptional range of the very best local and imported goods like grissini, cheeses, charcuterie and Italian confectionery.

“We’re thrilled that AG Ferrari’s complete line of specialty products - organic dried pastas, spreads, crackers, biscotti, coffee and seasoning salts - will now reach markets and consumers that would otherwise be deprived of our truly unique Italy-inspired, authentic and artisan crafted products,” said CEO Peppard. Since being purchased by the Murano Group in July 2013 and under Peppard’s direction, the company has revamped the in-store experience, rebranded packaging, and seen store sales increase more than 40 percent. Peppard’s primary focus, the Consumer Goods division of the company, has tripled in sales.

“AG Ferrari has spent decades establishing deep relationships with the best artisan Italian food producers. For many grocery operators the question hasn’t been whether our products would be a good fit, but rather how quickly they can get our product line to market,” said Peppard.
