Executive Chef Jim Kyndberg creates an Instagram Worthy Dinner with a taste of Jason DeRusha’s food photography tips

MINNEAPOLIS (February 26, 2016) – FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar Downtown (31 S 7th St) and EAT.DRINK.DISH MPLS team up with Minnesota Monthly Magazine Food Editor, Jason DeRusha for a one-night only dinner on Thursday, March 10 from 6-8 p.m.

James Beard Award Nominee Jason DeRusha is a local CBS reporter and Minnesota Monthly Food Editor always exploring the Twin Cities’ dining scene.

Showcasing a sneak peek at FireLake’s new spring menu, Executive Chef Jim Kyndberg creates a perfectly plated five course menu featuring items such as FireLake Fritto Misto combining walleye, rock shrimp and scallops, and the Bison Bone Marrow served with toast, ox tail ragu, rye crumble, and fennel parsley salad. From Minnesota Monthly’s Jason DeRusha, learn the secrets to taking Instagram-worthy photos and how to ‘plate pretty’ from FireLake’s Chef Kyndberg sharing his very own plating techniques.

Executive Chef Jim Kyndberg creates inventive five course tea-infused menu

MINNEAPOLIS (January 8, 2015) – FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar Minneapolis Downtown

(31 S 7th St) invites diners to warm up this winter with an exclusive tea-infused Rishi Tea Dinner event on January 28, 2015 at 6 p.m. in partnership with Rishi Tea.  Executive Chef Jim Kyndberg has created an innovative five course menu featuring Rishi Tea. Each course incorporates a different tea variety showcasing the delicate balance of flavors between ingredients.

For a truly memorable and interactive experience, guests will be guided through the dinner with an introduction to each course by Executive Chef Kyndberg and Jessica Conley, Rishi Tea. Guests will learn about the inspiration for each course as well as the history of each tea variety used.

Rishi Tea, based in Milwaukee, uses organic practices and has 100% traceability. Master tea blenders have studied the tradition and craftsmanship of the handmade process from start to finish that is used today.

First Course

Savory coconut custard, ginger lime rooibos, salmon roe, crisp parsnip
