Union Kitchen to be First Tenant of Sociable Cider Werk’s Permanent Food Truck

Big things are happening at Sociable Cider Werks for the New Year!

On the eve of 2019, Sociable is introducing its newest venture – a rotating chef food truck.

As a way to promote the immense talents of up-and-coming Twin Cities chefs, Sociable has launched a permanent food truck. The taproom purchased a food trailer that will sit on site and house several different culinary operations throughout the year. The idea is to provide Sociable’s guests with consistently great food while also allowing newer chef’s to flex their culinary muscles in a physical space.

The first tenant of this food truck will be Union Kitchen.

Headed by chef Yia Vang, Union Kitchen will serve up a taste of traditional Hmong dishes with Minnesota flair.

The menu will include items that are vegetarian, vegan and gluten free, as to help accommodate any dietary restrictions. Dishes range in cost from $6 to $14.

The soft launch is set to take place 12 – 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29. The official opening will be 4 – 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2.

Union Kitchen will be open the same hours as Sociable, and it will reside in front at 1500 Fillmore St. Ne, Minneapolis.
