celebrations are clearly in order.
16 years ago, Heidi Andermack and Amy Brown were just two good friends who shared a mutual love for sharing recipes and creating art from food.
In 2004, based out of a small location in Dinkytown, the co-founders got down to business by slanging and catering amazing food for small businesses and weddings around town.
Today, Chowgirls Killer Catering is known as one of the most successful catering companies in Minnesota!
From their 11,000-square-foot warehouse on Hoover Street in the artsy neighborhood of Northeast Minneapolis, their killer staff of 135 people continue to provide their delicious and sustainable fare for a variety of events.
As the first “green” catering company in Minnesota, this award-winning catering company pride themselves on their organic and local ingredients.
Based on the clear knowledge of origin that their organic ingredients come from and a seasonal calendar to back it up, they continue their mission to create and serve mouthwatering hors d'oeuvres, indulgent plates, and craft cocktails and beers provided by local and trusted partners.
In accordance with International Women’s Day, we are thrilled to share their outstanding achievements and celebrate their 16th year around the sun.
