Finally, How To Feature Your Restaurant on @eatdrinkdishmpls

It’s no secret that some of the most notable eating establishments in Minnesota can be found right here in the Twin Cities.

With food trends constantly changing alongside the rise and decline of the restaurant industry, it can be difficult to keep up with what’s out there.

However, at eat drink dish mpls®, we believe that every single restaurant has its own story to tell.

How it all began

Making its debut in 2014, eat drink dish mpls® has visually shared individual experiences to highlight the many diverse and delicious dishes offered here in the Twin Cities.

Starting out as a 20-something-year-old lifestyle blogger, Golnaz Yamoutpour journeyed through the cities with friends to document her personal food experiences and restaurant discoveries. All while supporting local businesses along the way.

Food creates culture, culture creates food. All I want to do is share my foodie lifestyle with others and bring in another perspective to this lively foodie culture. If I can do that while helping local food businesses grow, why not!
— Golnaz Yamoutpour, Founder and Owner, eat drink dish mpls®

Golnaz, Founder and Owner, did not grow eat drink dish mpls® just by snapping and posting food pictures while hoping for the best. She holds an MBA in Marketing from Augsburg University and has worked in the food industry since she was a child back when her parents owned a fast-casual restaurant in downtown Minneapolis.

eat drink dish mpls® is a product of when expertise and passion collide.

Over 3,000 images and 66,000 followers later, eat drink dish mpls® is recognized as one of the largest online food communities in Minnesota and is followed by social media users internationally.

Our platform

We continue to highlight and share the best of what local restaurants have to offer by sharing unique foodie experiences, but on a wider scale.

Many may not know, unlike other similar food-based accounts, we don’t repost tagged images by restaurant accounts.

We want to provide a customer-centric experience and we value the influence of our platform, and the hard work it took to get it this far.

At eat drink dish mpls®, we have always made it a point to consciously share experiences from restaurant-goers and fellow food enthusiasts.

The content that you see on our feed is captured by either us (original content) or curated from our tagged and hash-tagged photos captured by our passionate followers (user-generated content).
